Argh! What to do when it goes wrong... (Windows 11)

This little extra bonus course is all about how to sort things out on your computer or tablet when they go wrong. I'd like to say this lot won't be any use to you, but technology being technology, you always get the odd little niggle every now and then.

You can't enroll in this course separately - it's only available when you sign up for Windows 10 made simple... and how to get the most out of it

Julie and Kathryn

Julie is an experienced editor, having spent her entire career writing and editing science, maths and technology books and courses.

Julie graduated from Leeds University in 2002, with a BSc in Physics. She then moved up to the Lake District to write and edit books, and hasn’t stopped yet. Julie also writes a weekly free email newsletter giving tips, advice and help about computers, tablets, smartphones and more.

She is mother to two boys, who take up the rest of her time when she’s not at work. She’s also got a knack for explaining tricky concepts in plain Yorkshire... I mean in plain English :-)

Kathryn is also a Leeds University graduate – she left Leeds in 2016 with a BA in English & French and an MA in English Literature, and then moved up to the Lakes to write and edit books (what an eerie coincidence!). She joined us in 2019 and has fitted right in, helping us make some very popular books and courses.

When she's not writing (or reading) books, she'll either be lindy-hopping at a swing dance event somewhere in the north of England, or bouldering at Kendal Climbing Wall.
